Kenya Explorer Safari

A best-selling 2-night safari that incorporates good game viewing, nature walks, night drives, lodge and tented accommodation. This action-packed safari offers a great introduction to the Kenyan bush.

2 Night Safari Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday

Collection from your beach hotel and drive to Tsavo East National Park, entering at Bachuma Gate. Game viewing en route to Aruba Lodge which is situated in the Tsavo East. Dinner and overnight Aruba Lodge.

Day 2 - Saturday

Brief early morning game drive in Ngutuni Game Sanctuary before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Continue to Ziwani Tented Camp close to the border with Tanzania and on the edge of Tsavo West National Park. Lunch and remainder of afternoon to relax, view the hippo in the river to the front of the camp or opt to take a guided nature walk. In the evening take a night game drive in search of bush babies, genet cats. Return to camp for dinner and overnight Ziwani Tented Camp.

Day 3 - Sunday

Early morning nature walk with a game scout. Breakfast and drive to Voi Wildlife lodge for lunch before continuing to Mombasa arriving at your beach hotel early evening. Please note:We reserve the right to vary
the order of visits, or provide alternative accommodation of an equivalent standard, if considered appropriate. Guests will need to check out of their
beach hotels and will not be guaranteed the same room on their return as rooms have not been reserved and paid for during the 2 night safari

Accommodation

We use a range of lodges across Africa. Each lodge offers standard rooms with private bathroom facilities. Some lodges offer permanent tented accommodation, which also have private bathroom facilities. Each lodge has a restaurant, bar and in some cases a swimming pool.

Please note: Due to the flight day being a Friday, guests travelling from Manchester wishing to book this safari must book as part of a 14 night holiday. We reserve the right to vary the order of visits, or provide alternative accommodation of an equivalent standard, if considered appropriate. Guests will need to checkout of their beach hotel and will not be guaranteed the same room on their return, as rooms have not been reserved and paid for during the safari.
